Closures :: 15:36

Got something done.

Today was the release (internal) of my summerproject. The version number got set at 0.1, which tells to those who know about this kind of things, that the application is of limited functionality, but can be run independently. It feels good. The application isn’t as good as I hoped in the summerdays, but it isn’t as bad as I was afraid still a week ago.

Documentation could surely have used an other week of fixing, but can’t always have everything ;)

This week we celebrated M’s bday, ie. I made a munchkin-cake (some people think that six layers would be a bit excessive, pansies), she baked a feast-bread and we had a couple of nice people sitting with us on wendsday-evening. Last night Murre got us tickets to the club-night viewing of Starwreck, in the Pirkinning. Movie was a damnable good one, for amateur project although I felt bit silly watching familiar faces on the silver-screen. Is this what it feels like to have friends in Hollywood? Our movie marathon is proceeding tonight as we’re joining Mikko and Gini to see Sin City (finaly).

The weekend is going to be boring one, as the other summer-project needs to get done, well it shouldn’t be too bad, but its going to take time and work, even if I know that M is dying to spend time roleplaying the new campaign (We’re at Mental again, this time its set in Venice) as am I, come to think of that. Hope I’ll get it all done in the weekend, so it would be out of my hands.

On the other front, I’m furious at certain pricks, arseholes and idiots who have been bashing, backstabbing and attacking (verbally) one of our friends. Wish they’d keep their filthy lies, where such muck actually belongs to. Why the hell it’s necessary to invent such crap, when they could have just asked her (or others who) actually know.

Mood got somewhat better when one relative answered today a mail of mine, and told some good news (if by some happenstance you’d be reading this, congrats again :D ).
