Well behaved car, less well behaved groom :: 19:23
Weddings on in just a few nights of.
Today I did part I of the car-cleaning, ie. I washed the doors, mats and vacoomed the car. There are number of things that can go wrong, but now the car shouldn’t attack anyone’s festive clothing, which would be a silly thing to go wrong. Now she’s seen to condition that at least this shouldn’t happen.
Yesterday I had my stag-night. A good number of people attended and worries about how it would go as I had screwed up my personal time-management ending up with less than 4h sleep night before turned to be unfounded. The meal was excellent, but the company was even better. I was treated to three course dinner, preceded by a drink, washed down with good wine. Good thing, there was my pelican-master to stomp his flipper down when I tried to skip the wine. After dinner the night continued in Café Europa a long while. When the party-posse had thinned to Murre, Mikko and Gini the two gents suddenly flashed a nasty grin and quite innocently started pondering if they should get me some more drinks. They did and saw to it that I downed them in somewhat reasonable time… A very educating experience as I had thought that Long Island Ice tea would be a tea based longdrink, was I ever wrong, wondered how Kaipiroska might taste like and never heard of 43-liquor or possibilities of making shots with chocolate.
I thoroughly enjoyed it all, all through the night from five to two, good company and good fun.
So my thanks besides the general ones to Murre and Pietari for organising it, Kontio for making it all the way from Helsinki your being there meant a lot for me, Petri for the silly jokes I’ve come to expect from you and Pauliina for coming too, was I surprised to see you. Thanks to Inkku for being our mistress of the wine and all the suggestive joking provided and not quite managing to castrate the crowd, thanks to Antti, Count and Masti for being there it was nice to see you all, thanks to Mikko and Gini for not only coming, and your share in levelling me but also for that you for your part took good care of me during the evening and eventually saw me safely home. Thank you all for the lovely night.
Thanks go also to those people who considered coming, even if you quite couldn’t make it.
See you on saturday
