Kinda lot happened, this is a quick share on the important issues.
We managed to return to our original Cyber-Tampere campaign, great fun. I rip a lot from Alias, but who cares. Erika Halme, a somewhat aggressive and very special HR-officer of the European Business Machines Plc. is back with a vengeance, at least the vengeance of his superior J. Cavanaugh. Obviously three years lack of time, and severe amnesia work wonders with character’s personality and playability when the campaign has been in ice for an extended period of time. Erika 2.0.
Cyber-Tampere is a fun setting. It is very loosely based on R.Talsorian’s 2020 and Cybergeneration games, but I think that my Finn-set works somewhat better.
Unfortunately this caused a slight deprivation in sleep…
Friday, we came up with possibly the sickest idea for FS yet, a Decados entertainment act, Jakovgrad Bruteboys and Edenya Kossack Chorus… This started from MTV’s European Music Awards and Borat’s rather innocent comment “No Kazak bands here”. Kazak, Kossack, Kossack band… and listening Total Balalaika lately. If it would only have remained there, but then on came the Pussycat Dolls (Never heard of them before) with their “song” Don’t you wish your girlfriend was fun like me (or some such shite) ? M’s quick translation for the Kossack band was, Don’t you wish your boyfriend was big like me?. These guys are definitely going on tour, Decados-hegemony wide, quite soon. Taken the warm political weather, brought by Alexius I they might be appearing elsewhere, too. Leminkainen capital, would be an obvious choise.
At home I found a reply from my G-guide, telling about how the research has gone since I left and suggesting very good corrections for my big-G’s structure. I’ll probably get to do those in the end of the week, as work seems a bit busy.
