M asked me to take an enneagram test, and with two questions why not. I feel it is relatively close to truth though at this time we were most interested in the parenting section. This seemed quite close to what I read about myself (see, I like to read about myself ) from Dr. Keirsey’s book all those year’s back. I do hope that this particular kind of parenting will suite our family, not too worried about it though, but wondering. Also there are some questions due to the duality of my qualities but I do believe this is who I am in my interpersonal private life.

Se poika oli seonnut.

Miksi se poika oli latvakakkonen, onkin sitten ihan toinen kysymys johon jokaisella ja sen kumminkaimalla on ollut selityksensä. On sanottu, että se poika kuunteli väärää musiikkia, joka rikkoi sen mielen. On sanottu, että se poika pelasi liikaa (vääränlaisia ) tietokonepelejä, joissa se oppi nauttimaan tappamisesta. On sanottu, että se poika katseli vääriä elokuvia ja on niinkin sanottu, että sen pojan äiti oli ihan samanlainen vatipää kuin (pirun-) sikiönsäkin ja sieltä se poika oppi ajatuksensa.

Se poika kirjoitti ajatuksiaan esille, se jätti viestejä keskustelufoorumeille, blogiinsa ja vielä julistuksen tekonsa pressipakettiin. Sitten katsottiin, että sen pojan pää meni rikki, kun se luki liikaa muuta kirjallisuutta kuin Aku Ankkaa. Se luki Platonia ja Nietzscheä, erityisesti Nietzschen vaikutus pisti omaan silmääni sen julkilausumaa lukiessa. Platonin vaikutusta pidetään nyt jollain tapaa virallisena syynä, mikä on allekirjoittaneen mielestä vähintäänkin kuvottavaa.

Kun kaikki muutkin, niin minäkin. Huolimatta tähän lähestymistapaan jo etukäteen kohdistuvasta, toden näköisesti osittain ansaitustakin kritiikistä. Iltapäivä läystäke oli sattunut saamaan lausunnon Setä-Siniseltä ja tällaista lausuntoa olen odottanut siitä asti, kun luin sen pojan kirjoituksia. Asia varmistuu, jos käy ilmi että uhrien valintaperuste määrittyi tätä kautta, mutta tuo selittäisi sen pojan pään hajoamisen aika hyvin.

Vuosikausien kiusaamisessa, kun kohteen pää tapaa reagoida kutakuinkin kahdella tapaa. Toinen on uskoa, että oikeasti on ihmisarvoa omaamaton olento, ali-ihminen, niin kuin ympäröivä porukka antaa aika selkeästi ymmärtää ja reagoida sitten tähän sopivasti. Luopua omanarvontunnosta, itsekunnioituksesta, kehittää päihdeongelmia, syömis- tai muita itsetuhoisia häiriötiloja ja aina silloin tällöin tehdä omakohtainen ja ainutkertainen ratkaisu. Toinen on omaksua kanta, että ympäröivä elukkalauma on se osa ihmiskuntaa, jolla ei ole arvoa, jos se nyt ylipäätään pitää ihmiskuntaan lukea. Jos ihminen sattui omaksumaan tämän jälkimmäisen strategian, niin Nietzschen ajatukset massakulttuuriin pakottavasta orjamoraalista ja yksilön nostavasta herramoraalista osuvat ja tuntuvat hyvältä. Sinuhen kokemus rahvaan parissa aina yksin olevasta ylhäisestä lämmittää pientä mieltä ja jos ajattelee sitä, miten yhteiskunta pitäisi järjestää, niin miten sitä voisi uskoa demokratiaan, joka tällaiselle vihamielisen lauman piirittämälle ihmiselle näyttäytyy juuri termin alkuperäisessä merkityksessä (demokratia = roskaväen diktatuuri). Se poika rakasti vihaansa, eikä sekään ole ihme jos tuo lausunto pitää paikkansa. Siinä elämäntilanteessa viha on kaunista ja siinä vellominen vapauttavaa. Se käy rakennusaineeksi ja liikkelläpitäväksi energiaksi.

Tämä tragedia kaikissa näytöksissään on tuonut esiin jokaisen muka-asiantuntijan ja hälykön tarjoamaan omat ratkaisunsa ongelmaan. Internetin sensurointi, heavy-tyyppisen musiikin kieltäminen, väkivaltaviihteen kieltäminen, mp3soittimista luopuminen, rajatummat aselait, aselupakäytännön kiristäminen, nuorison fyysinen kurittaminen kehdosta armeijaan, lasten rakastavampi kasvatus, metallinpaljastimet ja puolisotilaalliset vartijat kouluhin ja ihan mitä tahansa nyt ensinnä mieleen tuleekin. Tuskin auttaa.
Jos tuo Iltalehden juttu nyt kumminkin sattuisi pitämään paikkansa niin oikeampikin toimivampikin ratkaisu voisi löytyä. Minä en tiedä miten se temppu tehdään, mutta tiedän että se on mahdollinen ja minä tiedän ihmisen joka osaa sen tempun täydellisesti. Se ihminen on nimeltään Kirsi Kaarela ja toimi Porolahden Ylä-Asteen rehtorina tuossa yhdeksäntoistasataayhdeksänkymmentäluvun alussa. Jos arvaukseni Iltalehden jutussa esille käyneen ilmiön selittävästä vaikutuksesta osuu yhtään oikeaan, on pirunmoinen sääli, että Rouva Kaarela ei ollut tuon Jokelan koulun rehtorina (Näyttäisi työskentelvän nykyään Hiidenkiven peruskoulussa, ihan noin helsinkiläis vanhemmille vinkiksi).

No pirustako minä tiedän yhtään muitakaan paremmin mitä sen latvakakkosen päässä liikkui silloin tai sitä edeltäneiden vuosien aikana. Mikillä on ihan kohtuullisen hyvä lähestymistapa kun todetaan, että sellaista sattuu ja välillä ihmisotuksilta vain vintti pimenee, ilman että sille voidaan osoittaa selkeää syytä. Homo homini lupus* ja kaikki muut asiaan liittvät latteudet. Mutta siniset silmät ja lapsenusko kaipaavat selityksiä kauheuksille ja minun kokemusmaailmassani Iltalehden kertomasta Setä-Sinisen lausumasta löytyy aika helvetin paljon selitystä tapahtuneelle.

After the youngsters I ended up spending a moment in youtube and found this. John Williams plauying Albeniz’s Asturias. Which is probably the best classical guitarist playing the king song of the instrument/style. I’ve seen this performance as a kid from telly and it impressed me then, this is what classic guitar is about. Guitar isn’t necessarily only a solo instrument, here’s a duo with a serious song and here’s a quartet with something quite different.

The other (yup, in my world there are two) seminal song of the classical guitar is of course Los Requerdos de la Alhambra, composed by Francesco Tarrega. Best rendition I could find was this one.

Then from the flamenco side of things… I linked Grisha’s rendition in the previous post, here’s the original master and yet another version of the song. Flamenco by the youtube seems to fit old geezers extremely well as one can deduce from these pieces from Carlos Montoya. 1, 2, 3

Then I found something that might be best described as modern guitar. In the opening sequence the fellow here plays a ten stringer, somewhat unusual variant of the instrument.

Even as I still seem to lack pretty much completely the time required to write up even a fraction of things going on in my life, there is something that’s close to heart and nice to put here. Fiendishly good guitar playing, to be precise. Have a look:

This guy is truly astonishing. The piece he’s playing is truly one of the royal ones when it comes to difficulty, his fingering on the left is perfect and the picking technique he has on the right is impressive as well.
